I would say C++ since most games are actually written in that language.

But, you will have some problems to find good solutions with.

C++ is not platform independant, not that C# is, and you will have to use:
- standard C++,
- cross platform graphical libraries, such as OpenGL
- cross platform sound libraries, such as OpenAL
- and more
if you want your program to be able to run on other systems and not just Windows.

If you just want to make something for Windows, it is still a good idea to use C++ over C#, but you could use DirectX for the sound, graphics, etc.

Also, if you wanted to later on make your game to work on a playstation or so, you would probably need the code in C++ so you can easily port it to the playstation.

Really, the decision of what language to use comes down to what you want the game playable on. Once you work out how you want the game, like on Windows, Linux, Mac, as well as Playstation, XBox, etc, then you can find what language(s) is/are used on these systems.

Then the choice of your language will probably have been made for you. I say this as C++ works on most of them.

Then you need to find out how to program the graphics, the sounds, etc for it all to work.

Hope that helps and good luck with it.

Word 2000 and Word 2003 documents should be compatible with each other. It might help if you told us what kind of trouble you're having, probably in a new question.

Sorry.

@TheEmplek Except for the fact that TellMe doesn't exist. It's a concept... just like Courier. At least Siri is real and gets smarter and smarter every day.

Until this is released, this (MS TellMe) is not better than a rock. Unless you have down syndrome.

Now you know why Apple released their copy cat Siri as beta. They just wanted to make it look like they were first. All along Microsoft has had this technology way before Apple. Siri? LOL Move along nothing to see there.
