The goal of the XNA Belgian User Group is to connect people interested in game development and exchange technical skills. This can be done during our meetings, who shall be opened by a presentation by a guest-speaker, who will highlight an aspect of XNA. Content and articles will also be shared, and to top it off, an occasional drink together.
Technical skill doesn't matter, everybody living in Belgium can join XNA-BUG and connect.
To strengthen our launch, we shall start XNA-BUG by launching a contest on game design, supported by Microsoft. The first prize will consist of two Xbox 360 consoles. More info in about the contest can be found here.
XNA-BUG is an initiative of Brecht Kets, lecturer game design at the University College of West Flanders and Riemer Grootjans, PHD-student at the VUB. Brecht and Riemer are both Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Windows - DirectX/XNA.
